In recent weeks there have been several new additions made to the Component 3 Effective Digital Working Practices course on KnowItAll Ninja. These are designed to make the course an even more essential tool to schools delivering the BTEC Tech Award DIT course.
To start with, all lesson and quiz content has been removed. There have been a few small tweaks to some of the quizzes and some additional interactive content added to lessons.
For example, check out the new interactive 4G comparison map to show the difference in internet access in different countries.
Next all presentations throughout the whole course were updated and significantly expanded on. Originally designed as a simple quick notes tool, they can now be easily used as full in-class presentations.
Check out the communications technology lessons presentation below.
Don’t forget, you can check out the first four lessons of this course for free and access the presentations for each of those lessons.
That then brings us to the biggest update just recently added.
New Component 3 Videos
Yes, eleven new videos have been added to the Effective Digital Working Practices revision course. This makes these BTEC DIT Component 3 resources absolutely comprehensive, with every lesson having it’s own explainer video.
This has long been the plan and has been held up significantly due to COVID-19. However, they’re now here and I am sure will be a great tool to your classroom teaching and students revision.

You’ll not only be able to give access to all of the lessons, but also can take advantage of the achievements, leaderboards and student tracker. The student tracker is a particularly useful tool as you can see every quiz attempt a student makes, including every answer they submit.
Prices cost as little as £30 for 10 students access. That’s £3 per student for an entire years access, with prices even cheaper for larger numbers. An unbelievably affordable, high-quality resource. To check out the subscription options you should go straight to the pricing page.
